Yin Xiu Yi 尹秀伊
Yi\’s world of androgyny and music
Welcome to meriahcarey.com! I am Yin Xiu Yi (尹秀伊).
I am not Mariah Carey. This website is meriahcarey.com with an “E”!
I am a very eclectic being. In this website, you will see me talk about androgyny, comparative education, foreign languages, foreign cultures, original music, poetry and who knows… I am not that predictable so I might write about things that are not related to any of those.
I am interested in foreign languages, comparative education, androgyny, gender bending, LGBT rights, songwriting, ancient civilizations, history and of course, cats and dogs.

I really don’t get the idea that high heels are for ladies and that guys shouldn’t wear them. I went to this H&M store yesterday and bought this 40$ shoes. I put on the pair of heels right away and headed to the West Lake. There were moments when people around noticed and chuckled. There were these girls who were staring at me, murmuring and laughing. Believe it or not, I could hear what they were murmuring about. I don’t know where they got the courage to laugh at a boy wearing heels when these shoes clearly looked so much better on a boy like me than on hideous girls like them.
I was bored today so I decided to try on some of the clothes I bought last week. I put on a 20$ black blazer (H&M, ladies’), a 5$ red long-sleeved T-shirt (Baleno, men’s), a pair of pants for teens (I can’t recall where I bought it but I am sure it’s less than 3$), and a pair of 40$ black heels (H&M, ladies’). Wearing this allowed me to gender-bend and made me look too feminine so much so that I forgot that I was born male (ha ha ha!). Unsatisfied, I decided to “bend the bent gender” and drew a moustache on my face. I think I’m loving this. Expect me to “bend the bent” in these coming weeks and months and years.
